His Work Through Hands and Needles
Hope's quilting group, The Quilters, Sewers, and Wanna-Have-Funners meet on Thursdays at 10:00 am in Founder's Hall. The Quilters make quilts for the homeless and to raise money for the Youth Scholarship Fund. They have worked on a "friendship quilt for Kid's Ferst, that was designed and sewn by Sue Marler. Every year they complete 100 bags for the mission team to Honduras, and currently working on a raffle quilt for the Fall Festival. For more details contact June Edgemon.
Hope’s knitting group knits or crochet prayer shawls and throws for members who are ill, as well as making bags for the Honduras mission trips. Bring your favorite or current craft project, knitting needles and crochet hooks, and join in the fun! For more information contact Mary Young.
