Outreach Ministries
It is important to the members of Hope to be committed to being a "discipleship community"--reaching out faithfully to other people for the sharing of the Good News of the risen Jesus Christ. Our Outreach Ministries have allowed us to grow in our faith by serving others.
Happy Spring Everyone!
The Outreach Team met in April and packed 141 snack bags for Elderly shut-ins in Gilmer County. Each bag contains 7 treats, some healthy some not! Our goal is to put a smile on their face with goodies to look forward to every other month. We deliver the bags to the Senior Center every other month and they deliver them with meals on wheels. We pack 282 bags per year, 1/2 in April and 1/2 in October. Let Amy Freese know if you would like to join the fun in October. Thank you!
