Wreaths Across America
The Knights of Columbus at Good Samaritan Catholic Church in Ellijay are inviting us to join with them in sponsoring wreaths to be placed on veterans’ graves at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton on December 16th. The wreaths are placed each December before Christmas. Arrangements can be made directly online by visiting: www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/GA0393 The cost is $17 per wreath.

Poinsettias for the Sanctuary
The week before Christmas we will be adding poinsettias to our decorations in the sanctuary as we have for many years. If you would like to sponsor a plant (or two), either in honor or in memory of someone special in your life, please sign up on the sheet on the bulletin board in the narthex by Sunday, December 17th. Be sure to indicate "In Honor" or "In Memory" for each remembrance. The cost for each plant is $15.00 this year. Please note: names written on offering envelopes might be unintentionally overlooked. Please use the signup sheet.

Adult Choir Christmas Cantata
On Sunday, December 17th, our Luther Singers will present the cantata, Christmas Presence: A Gathering of Hope, Peace and Love, by Pepper Choplin, during morning worship. There will be one combined worship service that day, at 10:00 AM. There will not be Sunday School.

Christmas Eve Schedule
Since Christmas Eve is on a Sunday this year, we will have one Advent worship service at 10 AM. Our two traditional Festival Christmas Eve candle-light services will be held at 4 PM and 7 PM. We will share a wonderful holiday buffet in Founders Hall in between the services, at 5:30 PM. The church will provide ham, green beans, rolls and beverages. Please bring a salad, casserole or dessert to share.

New Year's Eve Worship
December 31st is New Year's Eve and a 5th Sunday. We will have combined worship at 10 AM that morning.
